This is the short version, because the long version is the same thing with more commas. yep, today builds websites for small businesses from a conversation. To do that, it keeps a small amount of information about you. Here is all of it.

What we keep

Who you are. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, your email address and a Google account identifier. We use them to know which site is yours and to reach you about it. We never see your Google password.
What you tell us. Everything you type in the conversation — what your business does, where it is, how people reach you — is kept, because it is what your website is made from.
Your website. The pages we build for you, every version of them, and the address they are published at. Nothing is deleted when you change something; every version stays one tap back.
One cookie. A single session cookie so you stay signed in. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no analytics that follow you to other sites.

What we do with it

We use it to build, host and change your website, and to answer you when you write to us. That is the whole list.

We do not sell it. We do not rent it. We do not share it with advertisers. The people who can see it are the people who run yep, today, and only when they need to in order to help you.

Where it lives

On servers we operate. Your website itself is public once you say yep — that is the point of a website — and until then only you can see it.

Your website’s visitors

Your published website is yours. We keep ordinary server logs of visits to it so we can keep it running, and we keep them briefly. We do not put trackers on your visitors.

Keeping it, and getting rid of it

We keep your information for as long as you have a site with us. Write to us at founders@backlogburner.io and we will remove your account and everything in it, or send you a copy of it, whichever you ask for.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will tell people who have a site with us before it takes effect. The date at the top is the date it last changed.
